A three note motif opens the piece to which all the piece alludes to, either in different moods, tonality or periods of music.
The first section is quite modern and atonal. The second expressivo section is a classical /romantic melody. The third section is a baroque stlye fugue. At 84 the classical theme returns in a broader feeling followed by a codetta at 95 with ideas from the first and fugue sections
