"Skye Boat Song" is a traditional Scottish song based on an even older Scottish air. There are a few different lyrics to go with the title. This arrangement was made by Janice Eckworth. Thank you for your support!

This harp arrangement has been written for harp beginners with the goal of learning brackets and placing. 2 versions of sheet music are included: one with just notes and one that includes harp fingering/brackets.

  • Lowest note: Bass C
  • Highest note: D above treble C
  • Fits 26-string harps; playable one octave higher on harps with 16+ strings.
  • Level: late beginner. 
Fun facts:
Tom Jones sang it on his first album along with the song "It's Not Unusual" (in 1965).
One variation of lyrics was used for the TV show, "Outlander."
