Product Description

This unusual arrangement of one of the most beloved carols, "We three Kings," arranged by Kathleen Holyoak, evokes mysterious images of the three Magi as they traveled from the East. The underlying rhythmic motive in the bass accompaniment is the heartbeat of the arrangement and represents the motion of the camels and the jingle of camel bells as they saunter slowly through the desert in search of the Christ child in Jerusalem. (Snare drum, triangle and tambourine enhance the accompaniment. ) Note: Cameleers often put bells on camels at night to prevent them from getting lost.)

"We Three Kings" remains one of the most frequently sung Christmas carols today. This arrangement is suitable for a soloist or a small group singing in unison.

Key: e minor, f minor
Voicing: Vocal Solo/Duet
Language: English
