Product Description
This arrangement takes both the original version of the song from La La Land and Sheridan Smith's cover as points of reference, and develops into a barbershop contest ballad.* It is conceived for a free, rubato style that focuses on the lyric and gives the melody room to breathe, with a contrasting Bridge that picks up a more driving rhythm and the swing feel from the reference versions.
The arrangement is notated in the traditional clefs for women's barbershop: treble and bass alta (i.e. sung an octave higher than written)
* Suitable for contest under BHS rules rather than SAI
Vocal ranges:
Tenor: E flat 4 to F5
Lead: C4 - D5
Bari: A3 - C5
Bass: D3 - G4
