Product Description

Piano Grooves Volume 1 is a collection of beginner piano pieces that reflect the blues and contemporary musical styles, as well as a theory reference for learning chords and chord progressions. The student should try to establish a constant flowing motion with each piece, that is, to set up a consistent rhythmic groove. All the pieces are short, emphasize repetition and usually in 2 part form, i.e., A/B. After the student has learned a piece it is recommended that a certain amount of improvisation be encouraged within the rhythm or groove established.
