Product Description

The Coventry Carol is a traditional 16th Century carol, from Coventry in England that was composed to be performed as part of The Mystery Plays. The song accompanies the story of the nativity according to Matthew, the lullaby sound of the pieces reflects a mothers sorrow after Herod orders the killing of all new born sons. This arrangement for SSA choir is ideal for small chamber groups as well as larger ensembles. The open harmonies are in keeping with the plain song style of the music.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
